The Jobs That Keep Getting Put Off: A Kalamazoo Homeowner’s Guide to Getting the List DONE
There’s probably a list somewhere in your house.
Maybe it’s on the refrigerator.
Maybe it’s in your phone.
Maybe it’s just living in the back of your mind.
“Fix that loose railing",” Replace that light fixture", "Patch that hole in the wall", “Re-caulk the bathroom"," Mount the TV", “Fix that fence board.”
None of them seem big enough to completely stop your life.
But somehow… they never get done.
That’s where Poe’s Handyman Services comes in.
🛠️ We Specialize in the Jobs That Fall Through the Cracks
Kalamazoo has no shortage of contractors and home-improvement companies. Many are excellent choices for large remodeling projects and major construction.
But what about the homeowner who has seven smaller things that need to be fixed?
That's our sweet spot.
At Poe’s Handyman Services, we help homeowners tackle those annoying repairs, maintenance projects and small improvements that are easy to postpone but make a huge difference once they're finished.
Instead of spending your Saturday fixing things around the house, make a list and let us help you knock it out.
The “Honey-Do List” Doesn't Have to Become a “Honey-Why-Isn't-This-Done-Yet?” List
We can help with a variety of smaller home repairs and improvements, including:
TV mounting
Ceiling fan installation
Light fixture installation
Faucet and garbage disposal installation
Caulking and sealing
Drywall repairs and patches
Fence and deck repairs
General home maintenance
Small carpentry repairs
Hardware and fixture replacements
Home inspection punch-list repairs
And other small home-repair projects
Have a project you're not sure about?
Ask us.
We'll tell you honestly whether it's something we can handle or whether you need a specialized contractor.
📍 Proudly Serving Kalamazoo Homeowners
Poe’s Handyman Services serves homeowners throughout the Kalamazoo, Portage and Richland areas, with service extending throughout the surrounding Kalamazoo County communities.
Whether you own an older Kalamazoo home, a newer house in the suburbs, a rental property or you're getting a home ready to sell, keeping up with the little repairs can make a surprisingly big difference.
Why Poe's?
We're not trying to be the biggest contractor in Kalamazoo.
We're trying to be the handyman you actually remember.
That means treating your home with respect, communicating honestly about what your project needs, and focusing on doing the job right rather than trying to turn every small repair into a giant project.
Our philosophy is simple:
If it's on your list, let's figure out how to get it off your list.
One loose board.
One annoying hole in the wall.
One fixture that's been sitting in the box for six months.
One more thing crossed off.
🏡 Your House Doesn't Need a Remodel. It Might Just Need a Little Attention.
Sometimes improving your home doesn't mean spending thousands of dollars on a renovation.
Sometimes it's the $150 repair you've been staring at for six months.
Sometimes it's finally fixing the things that bother you every time you walk through the room.
And sometimes it's getting ten little projects done in one stretch instead of hiring ten different people.
That's what Poe's Handyman Services is here for.
