Introducing the Faith Works Program: Handyman Outreach for Our Community

At Poe’s Handyman Services, we believe that our work should go beyond tools, repairs, and projects—it should touch lives. That’s why I’m launching the Faith Works Program, a special outreach and ministry focused on helping those in need right here in our community, Columbia Tn.

Through this program, I offer free to low-cost handyman services and repairs for individuals and families who might not otherwise be able to afford them. My focus is on serving:

• Widows

• The elderly

• Disabled individuals

• Low-income families

• Single mothers

This outreach isn’t about business—it’s about faith in action. The Bible calls us to care for one another, especially those in difficult situations, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. The Faith Works Program is my way of putting that into practice through the skills God has given me.

Why Faith Works Exists

Many people in our community face challenges that go far beyond just a broken light fixture, a leaky faucet, or a door that won’t close right. For some, even small home repairs can feel overwhelming and impossible to afford. That’s where Faith Works steps in—not just to fix a problem, but to remind people that they are loved, valued, and cared for by Jesus Christ.

How It Works

Right now, this is a one-man effort. I don’t have a crew, and I know I won’t be able to help everyone. But I believe that even helping one person at a time can make a real difference.
